How Can Indigenous Communities Save Sharks In Honduras?

“Conservationists in Honduras are working with indigenous groups, among others, to both protect endangered sharks and improve the quality of life of these communities.
The global shark fins trade is estimated at around 16,000-17,000 metric tonnes per year and the annual number of sharks killed globally by the practice is estimated to be around 97 million, according to statistics included in a report to British Parliament.”
