WWF is launching the “Into Deep: What We Know, And Don’t Know, About Deep Seabed Mining”, an investigation into what is known and not known about deep seabed mining and minerals demand into the future on February 10th,. At 11:30-13:00 GMT, a digital launch event hosted by ANP|WWF, will present the report, and feature a discussion panel with Eugenia Barroca, Young Ocean Leader from the Sustainable Ocean Alliance, Gonçalo Carvalho, Representative of the Oceano Livre Platform, and Dr. Matthias Haeckel, the GEOMAR Helmholtz Centre for Ocean Research Kiel, Germany, moderated by Sian Owen, Sustainability Options Consulting.
